I never hate her. She qualified. There are plenty of athletes who come by invitation only and never qualify.

Best thing about "Judith-Butler-loving feminist" Raygun is that mom dance (I don't hate her and am rather indifferent but have a right to laugh at that pure comedy)

Worst thing is that this (not her fault) kind of scam theories courses degrees are abundant in academia.

Her PhD thesis excerpt:

No more breakdancing in 2028. Which is ashamed considering i could excel in this

BS that she ruined it for everyone. They’re trying to blame the participant for qualifying for the event? The committee who set up the qualifying rules messed up and ruined it if anyone did.

Are they saying a marathoner who took too long ruined that event? A wrestler who got bested in less than a minute?

They’re trying to rewrite the narrative and get people talking about that instead of what was really ruined, the events in which the IOC allowed XY males to participate as women.
X2 it’s not her fault. This is what happens when you include an artform as an Olympic sport without clear rules or performance requirements. Just blaming women for everything as usual.

They can include me in gymnastics next year and I’ll do a somersault on a mat, walk the length of the balance beam and hang from the rings for 10 seconds. If that was enough to qualify how is that my fault?

Not to mention diving let’s include amateurs there, that could be fun😂

DA, LA decided long before her performance that breakdance won't be in their Olympics
This pile on is overtop and ridiculous - has any other competitor who did dumb and embarassing stuff in their sports been made fun of so much by everyone and for so long ? It's like we're in school and laughing at the kid who couldn't dance at the party

Khelif is absolutely going to be celeb'ed by some. While the other one flies completely under the radar of both sides. I kinda get, Khelif fought first and that first fight ended in the manner it did. But the other boxer was getting the same level of coverage before then and took gold home with the same 5-0 fights right the way through, and not even the TRAs are taking opportunity to champion two fierce warriors for the price of one. Probably sensible on the part of Taiwanese, slink off with the winnings and keep heads down. The longer Khelif wants to be in the spotlight, the more chance there is of being exposed.

Khelif is actually a transphobe who says it’s a shame to him, his home country and all of the muslim world to be ”accused” of being trans. Which no one is really saying but anyway. He’s not a supporter of trans people. Wonder when TRA’s will figure that out.

The Taiwanese flies a lot more under the radar yes. Honestly I think the known cases of male athletes in the women’s events we’ve seen now is just the tip of the iceberg.

Don’t know why so many see it as some sort of impossible event that men would knowingly cheat? How many people got away with doping over the years? Lots and lots. It’s definitely not above human nature to cheat when there is money and glory on the line.

DA. There's a big overlap between (western) TRAs and those who have fetish for advocating for black/brown/African/Middle Eastern, North African/Islamic people *in particular*. (And those who have been passionately pro-DSD males in women's sports = TRAs + dumb part of self-described TERFs or anti- or non-TRAs + those tribalists from the same geocultural groups)

That explains massive glorifying bombardment of Caster and Khelif across western mainstream media. For such advocates, 'Noble Savages'? certainly don't include Taiwanese/Chinese (yeah different countries but the race/ethnicity is the same or similar), hence indifference/ignorance.

I just watched through pretty much the entire women’s beachvolley tournament (took a few days lol). Never really watched the sport before. Some amazing athletes there. They must do a lot of cardio, running in the sand is exhausting.

Find it interesting that a lot of teams have quite a difference in height between the blocker and the defender. Clearly not a sport you could excel in as a short person but a lot of the defenders are not extremely tall. Also only two players and no substitutes, if one gets injured you have to forfeit. First gold for Brazil since 1996!

Ana Patricia had her really dominant moments but was also more on and off. It’s really Duda who won them the tournament with all her gritty work in the back, what a player!

And Canada looked disappointed and said ”we barely lost”. I understand them because it’s true. Brazil won 26-24, 12-21, 15-10, so Canada actually took more points in the game. But that’s how the game works so. In the semifinal it was the same but in Canada’s favour, Switzerland took more points total but lost the final set.

Didn’t they coup a Romanian athlete down from 3rd place and then celebrate an all black podium for like a week? There is a focus on ethnicity but it’s not coming from white people.

The Olympics are international competition, not US domestic politics. Black/white is not the only perspectives. You also have for example USA/Romania, huge country with all the resources and influence imaginable, or a small country that doesn’t have that. Everything isn’t about race, and you can’t look at yourself as an inherent victim when you represent the most dominant country in the Olympics.

For example "all black podium" CNN article looked like written by a woke white saviour. Yeah written by this guy. I didn't look at other media and social media where I'm sure there are such many black people too but this kind of things (in other cases too) seem written and led by many white saviors.

Second paragraph is very true in international perspectives. They're, represent, benefit from being very American.

DA there were actually 2 Romanian athletes the USA cheated over with their judges influence. The one who should get the medal from the start was the 5th place Romanian gymnast.

“President Thomas Bach of the IOC has made it clear that Ms Lin Yu Ting is born as a woman, raised as a woman, has a passport as a woman and has competed for many years as a woman”
Bolded is totally opposite of truth  Never 'sensible', never 'keeping heads down', already during the games, twitter accounts of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Embassy, Cultural offices in various countries/cities, etc. were making threat-statements. Not to mention patriots' cyberbullying army spamming opponent boxers' instagram (but that's same for Algerians & pan-Muslims).

The only difference is that those with influence & power, that is globally recognised international media, aka Western media, didn't chose them as their fetish pets but choose to raise the brown North African to a woke religious worship icon status.

If you can make it to one of the Athletics sessions that’s always amazing to watch. Lots of variety too. The rugby is brutal, very spectacular and always a great atmosphere. If you want to see something that’s unique to the Paralympics, theres goalball and boccia. Goalball is played by visually impaired athletes, with a ball that has a bell inside of it. During play the supporters need to keep very quiet so the players can hear the ball, it’s an experience. Boccia is a sort of petanque played by people who are almost fully paralysed, think Stephen Hawkins. Swimming can be mindblowing, I’ve seen athletes break records and then being helped out of the pool. Archery without arms, track cycling with one leg,… You’ll see people do things you wouldn’t believe are humanly possible. Read up on the backstories of the athletes, so many of them had that one second of misfortune that changed their life forever, very inspiring stories about never giving up.
