Lady G is the chairman of the Judiciary committee. Mitch cant bring a vote until Lindsey sends a nom out of committee. Kamala is also on that committee. There has to be a debate on the nom there which will definitely be televised.
Massive platform for Kamala. All the dems on the committee will cede their time to her. She can drag Trump, the nom and Lady G who is in the toughest election fight he has ever faced right now.
A question now is what is most politically beneficial for miss Lindsey![]()

No one is underestimating Trump, but this is not 2016. Not with all the shit gone down, including the coronavirus mess. And I’m not sure why some of you think this is great for a Trump, when it’s going to drive even more suburban women to Biden, of which he already has a substantial lead. Whatever though, this thread is too toxic...

OP here. I told my Political Science PHD aunt, who has been living in the US since 1968, that the US was slowly turning into a theocracy. That conversation that we had was held in the living room of my house in Montevideo, Uruguay in May 2012. I told her among other things that politics are a pendulum, but Policies were pillars, and the US policies in education, health, human rights, JUSTICE SYSTEM were rotten. No matter what party was on the White House.
Every year since we had that conversation, every time something stupid happens in your country, she texts me "YOU WERE SOOO RIGHT".

I actually think its a wash. It activates both bases and doesnt change the calculus much for those who were in the middle. Those who are repubs that just want to get rid of Trump see this as a bonus because at least they get a judge AND can still lose Trump. The leftists who were still salty will wake up to the importance of down ballot races.Guest wrote: ↑19 Sep 2020, 03:22No one is underestimating Trump, but this is not 2016. From a position of privilege, others achieving equality will feel like a loss. That's why White women will deal with the subjugation to a man over having to be equal to a Black or brown person 9 times out of 10. That privilege is PRICELESS.
