Anyone interested in critics choice, nomination live on Twitter. Spencer got 3 nominations till now.
It’s Hollywood Critics Association, not Critics Choice FYI. Spencer is cleaning up. 5 so far - costumes, production design, score, cinematography, and best indie film.
Oops..my mistake. Sorry.

Spencer is Indie? Btw what's Indie? Is this arthouse?
DA
Yes. in clearer words: little budget. no super producers covering the costs.

So among all those critics awards, which are the most prestigious? Thanks a lot!
The three big ones are New York Film Critics Circle, Los Angeles Film Critics Association, and National Society of Film Critics. They’re known as the trifecta. Kristen won New York and National in 2015 for Clouds of Sils Maria and was the runner up for LA. It was big.
DA, someone previously pointed out that the critics associations often go for the less mainstream performances. Therefore Kristen did well for CSM…but she was not even nominated for Oscar, GG, and other mainstream awards back then. She looks pretty solid for Spencer, but anything could happen (especially for NYFCC).

If IFC had put just an ounce of effort into a campaign for her, she might’ve been nominated. They don’t always go for less mainstream, they often help push contenders to the bigger awards. I don’t think Kristen is getting NYFCC but she’s got a good chance at the others.

Da. Critics don't vote for industry awards like SAG, GG, BAFTA, Oscar. Their awards are there to help build the buzz, nothing else. Industry might go along or not, as in Kristen's case with CoSM noms.

I like the critics awards that have a ceremony to give the awards, like she had for NYFCC. That's an opportunity to see her!

I was thinking and came to the conclusion that the cj reality show has already been filmed. remember when cj posted a storie with Kristen in the car, the two of them dressed up, Kristen wearing makeup? so that's where the whole thing started. I also remembered that it's been months since she added that gay ghost playlist.

Lol, when he posted it, we thought of thousands of hypotheses, except for one reality show.

Neon didn’t produce this movie. It’s only distributing it (it’s not even only Neon they’re doing it with another one that no one mentions, I forgot the name!). It cost less than $20 mill. It’s an indie

More interesting, in the interview posted above, Pablo mentions he’s never done a studio movie. I really liked the interview, he had great questions for Kristen and Pablo.

At the end of the interview she gets asked why she put the hat on. We kind of knew but to hear her explain it out loud cracks me up

Don't think so because she just said in this HS interview that she would wait at least a year because she did not want COVID to be even "a thing"

Sight and Sound critics' poll of Top 50 movies of the year.

Spencer #15. Not a lot of major Oscar contenders in the Top 50. Among them, only Power of The Dog (#6) and Dune (#14) ahead of Spencer.

This is a pretty nice critics society so it's really great to see Kristen nominated here! :-) Interesting picks with some notable names missing like Colman.

Go look at the rate in which NYFCC winners translate to Oscar winners and try again.

Let's put it in this way. Kristen would be the first open LGBT actor who is in a same-gender relationship to win. Nowadays many actress would claim to be bi but only be open and seen in relationship with men. Thats why I dont think if Lady Gaga wins it would mean much to LGBT representation. They can claim to be bisexual but their actions still give them the mainstream acceptance when they stay in hetero relationships.

I think the jammies were part of their costumes. In a pic someone posted closer to Halloween you could see the tops were the same.
