Anon, no, don't give up! You only have to do one lesson a day. It'll take you two minutes.
I'm on day 2640. The only day I had to use the streak freeze was when I went to the ADC comic con in Copenhagen.

There is that one cowgirl one, I think. It’s by telofilms? The trailer for it gave the entire movie away but it looked as decent as any cheesy Christmas movie.

I love Last midnight. Probably my favorite of the musical. "You're so... nice. You're not good, you're not bad; you're just... nice" Meryl Streep butchered it in the movie adaptation.

"I'm not good I'm not nice, I'm just right; I'm the witch, you're the world!"--God it's just so great

And yes Meryl did. I'll give her that imo some other unfortunate adaptation choices probably hamstrung her interpretation, but she didn't do the material justice

IMO Assassins is a really deeply underrated musical, and more or less tied with Into the Woods for my favorite Sondheim so far.

I should give Assassins another chance. I listened to the OBC soundtrack a long time ago, but it didn't click for me.

Mine would be this one, mostly because thanks to this song I learned many years ago who Sondheim was. And since I'm not from the US it was quite a discovery. Other than that, this version and Liza's dancing slaps. I remember it was a pretty big hit in Europe.

For me my favorite of Sondheim its definitely America from Westside Story, because it did portray the two ways a lot of immigrants act some act like they were born in the US and look down to fellow immigrants and to the countries they come from and then you have those that can't wait to go back to their countries and pretty much create a better version in their heads sometimes forgetting why they left.
