Grocery anon, did you bring us back anything nice, or did you forget to eat before hand and just buy a bunch of stuff you could eat instantly?

I was very good and made a list before I went and I stuck to it. I got a haul of veggies to make soup and some nice looking bread the bakery had on day old sale. I did, however, make one silly impulse buy at the last minute - a bottle of kahlua that was on sale lol. It just sounded good.

All my veggies are chopped and in the slow cooker, so I’m gonna crush some ice and sip some kahlua while I play starfield and wait for the soup.

That sounds so nice...I should start to cook instead of just ordering takeout so much...

Just kinda basic. I cut up 2 potatoes and an onion and some garlic and added some veggie broth. Corn, navy beans, rice, and some hatch peppers.Then a bunch of spices that sounded good and some soy sauce. Oh and carrots and celery.
Think I'll toast some of the bread and put peanut butter on it.

I know it's silly and not really anybody's fault here, but it's such a pity to lose that kind of board memory. Not just for old l00 threads, but generally. I think not having some of the truly weird old threads to bubble up like swamp gas now and then affects board culture.

I remember people at the start of FTWD being like, I can't believe she left Lexa to play this girl and I was like, you gotta give it time! I just wish the show was better, so the journey could have been more appreciable. Actually, there was a season or two a little while back that was weirdly good?
