That sounds so nice...I should start to cook instead of just ordering takeout so much...Guest wrote: ↑18 Nov 2023, 19:57I was very good and made a list before I went and I stuck to it. I got a haul of veggies to make soup and some nice looking bread the bakery had on day old sale. I did, however, make one silly impulse buy at the last minute - a bottle of kahlua that was on sale lol. It just sounded good.Guest wrote: ↑18 Nov 2023, 18:05It's like not being in loveGuest wrote: ↑18 Nov 2023, 11:09I miss being in a fandom, obsessed with a character/ship and reading on ao3.
I had so much fun.
I wish something or someone can catch my eye in that way again
Yeah, I do miss that feeling.
Grocery anon, did you bring us back anything nice, or did you forget to eat before hand and just buy a bunch of stuff you could eat instantly?
All my veggies are chopped and in the slow cooker, so I’m gonna crush some ice and sip some kahlua while I play starfield and wait for the soup.

It was only a matter of time before it made its way to mainstream media. I'm here for the drama of it allGuest wrote: ↑18 Nov 2023, 19:30Oh.
The show is called Pit Babe. I know it's M/M, I am posting due to the insane implications for media. May God have mercy on us all.
Re: The l00 - Part XX
Just kinda basic. I cut up 2 potatoes and an onion and some garlic and added some veggie broth. Corn, navy beans, rice, and some hatch peppers. Then a bunch of spices that sounded good and some soy sauce. Oh and carrots and celery.Guest wrote: ↑18 Nov 2023, 21:03What soup are you making? What's the recipe.
Think I'll toast some of the bread and put peanut butter on it.
Re: The l00 - Part XX
Forgot to mention my "secret ingredient." I had 3 Tabasco peppers ripen last week so I tossed them in the soup too.Guest wrote: ↑19 Nov 2023, 00:34Just kinda basic. Maybe it's the goo diet speaking, but that soup sounds good as hell anon.

I think SAG's being awfully naive about AI... They're leaving their younger, newer actors in such a bind. You can't be like, well, just read the contract carefully, when many won't understand the legalese or have access to lawyers who do. It's literally SAG's job to collectively protect everyone?

Re: The l00 - Part XX
I was bored so I saw this show called Titans and decided to play it. I obviously fell in love with the redhead fire woman in episode one and I hope she doesn't die so I can keep watching.
Re: The l00 - Part XX
I feel like the emergency seagull delivery lady didn't need to be doing that in the little skirt.

I was feeling soft and nostalgic today, went to check out our old threads and the links are broken girls have we lost the archives forever???
Re: The l00 - Part XX
I was looking at the old fic rec posts and they don't work either. All the moves and BOTH boards trying to censor links to each other has fully wrecked any kind of linking we could do before. You'd just have to search directly through google, which, I've thought about doing sometimes, but can't yet be bothered toGuest wrote: ↑20 Nov 2023, 00:17I was feeling soft and nostalgic today, went to check out our old threads and the links are broken girls have we lost the archives forever???

I wish Fear Street 3 had more Sam in its second half just because then it'd really be the perfect movie. As it is, I really like it but I think 1 edges it out

I know it's silly and not really anybody's fault here, but it's such a pity to lose that kind of board memory. Not just for old l00 threads, but generally. I think not having some of the truly weird old threads to bubble up like swamp gas now and then affects board culture.
Re: The l00 - Part XX
If I had a nickel for everytime Alycia Debnam Carey returned as a radiation immune, messiah-like fan favorite character in the series finale of a tv show, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice
Re: The l00 - Part XX
I remember people at the start of FTWD being like, I can't believe she left Lexa to play this girl and I was like, you gotta give it time! I just wish the show was better, so the journey could have been more appreciable. Actually, there was a season or two a little while back that was weirdly good? Thankfully my Althea f/f stuff was right in the middle of that and I got my happy ending before it got bad againGuest wrote: ↑20 Nov 2023, 13:27If I had a nickel for everytime Alycia Debnam Carey returned as a radiation immune, messiah-like fan favorite character in the series finale of a tv show, I'd have two nickels. Omg this is amazing thank you! What I would give for a HACF spin-off set with Donna's lesbian daughter in the 2000-10ish time frame.

It's true. Even just for the sake of keeping history and being able to point the newbies to something crazy that happened and they could go read all about it. Because there were some batshit moments.
