I'm curious to see who they pick for the recurring cast.

Yeah expectations are low in terms of her acting ability, so at least there is room for her to surprise us. (I hope so)Guest wrote: Maybe she'll surprise us lol
I think the biggest threat ( it being a threat depends on the viewer I think) to this show is the reason behind hiring RR. We know it isn't because of her impressive resume, but more likely the big following she has among straight girls. I think I once heard that she had 13m followers on IG?
This worries me because the CW would likely have the show cater more to all RR's straight fangirls rather than lesbian viewers. And that sucks since she is the first lesbian superhero to lead her own show. They will likely form some pairings between the side characters (men and women) and have BW in no romance, or god forbid an affair with that woman who keeps it a secret from her husband that she once was in love with Kate Kane.
The only thing (which would be worst case scenario) is if they give her a close friendship with some dude and all the straight girls will ship them, not caring about the lesbianism of it all. They will then give them scenes that is sure to be coded in a certain way just to keep them engaged, completely ignoring the lesbophobia in doing so.
Sorry for the long rant, but that is what really worries me about the show. Hopefully I'm just being dramatic
Unfortunately i can see all of the above happening.rthansen wrote:

I guess i shouldn't be surprised that they'll be filming in Vancouver like the other DC shows.

I wonder if any of them actually tested with Ruby. She only just got back to the states from the holidays. I wouldn't be surprised if they all haven't officially met yet. She was congratulating them on IG and started following them all so hopefully they start bonding soon because it's not very long at all until they start shooting the pilot.Guest wrote:x2Guest wrote:10 bucks she get shipped way more than the other girlGuest wrote:flamebird is hotter to me than the actual ex gf
So Bette's full name in the comics is Mary Elizabeth Kane which fits with Mary Hamilton (Kate's Stepsister) becoming Flamebird. The only change is that she is no longer her cousin.
I don't like the idea of Sophie being married to a guy though, there are plenty of ways to introduce her without her needing to be married.

I thought the ex's name was "Sloane" or did they change that?Guest wrote:Goddamn it lolGuest wrote:Sophie. Kate's former love.Guest wrote:Who is Megan playing? Please don't say Batwomans gf.
I fully agree with everyone's sentiments regarding this ridiculous pairing. The writers are probably trying to give us some moronic straight girl who would go gay for Ruby Rose nonsense considering how much the CW is pandering to straight girls here. When a more realistic storyline is Meagan is trying to hide the fact she use to date Ruby because everyone expected her to be able to do better.
