I know Disney is a machine, but I really like how they are going all in on Captain Marvel as an icon for young girls and women.

That last trailer showed me that they did remember to bring Carol's humour from the comics into the movie which is refreshing. In a way having Brie and Samuel together does give the movie a buddy cop feel which I think is going to be fun.

I am definitely there for opening day, I can't wait.

By the way Mera, I saw Aquaman and I thought Amber Heard rocked as Mera.

officially, it's because it made more sense to them for a fighter pilot to have a cat called Goose.

That's how I feel as well. Then I remember how many people were so down on the casting of Wonder Woman and imo that is one of the best super hero movies and she did a great job.

Hopefully Brie proves people wrong. I just want all these female led huge movies to do well.

imo, there was never any serious chance of them making a bad movie or her not giving a great performance. From what they are saying, a lot of the movie takes place in space and we haven't seen hardly any of that.

The funniest bit about that Disney estimate? It's the exact same one they made for BP before the movie came out. Disney is always SUPER conservative in their estimate.

My opinion was so unbiased I don't get why you are even replying to me. I'm also the one who said it's going to make a shit tun of money regardless. Tweet statements are always overwhelmingly positive, Look at every DC movie. I just want it to be good. Is it weird I'd want to wait for full written reviews before I come to some kind of conclusion. And I'm going to see it anyway because I want to support female led films. Like I'm not even being negative.
