I personally would not want a baby storyline, ever. Those are awful and tend to ruin shows. So if we have the "kids talk" to get that out of the way so we don't get any surprises, I'm game. Hopfully they'll continue to walk past those shitty ass tropes. They did a great job in season 1.
They could do like they did with the promotion storyline, when you learn about it it’s already over and done. No wasted time.

The big problem is that the stories of baby desires in these shows often revolve with a man in the middle and who ends up destroying the couple, do we really want this kind of shit to happen to Kate and Lucy?. surely not ^o)
I could eat my words, but if there is a show that I trust will not get a man in the middle is this one.
After all that was established in season 1?
No way.

Considering how they seem to treat the couple, I agree with you and I’m pretty confident  but it’s the length that scares me, season 2 should go well but will they keep this couple away from the stupid dramas?.

The positive of this being mainly a crime procedural show where personal storylines usually take a backseat, is that they don’t create or focus too much on those dramas.
They did give more screentime to Kacy’s story than what is usually the case, but I think they could stay away of those of those tired recurrent arcs.

DA. I can get behind that and if they want kids, it can happen in season 13 like with the straight couple in NCIS LA.
Kids storyline do tend to ruin f/f storylines imo. Only Avalance did it well by having the two women make a kid together.

In the next season, I'm more interested in learning more about Lucy's family and backstory and maybe see some of her family. I would like to see a little of Whistler working with the FBI, on a case not related to a NCIS one and see her in the field. I would like Kacy working together in the field or going undercover together. I would like more of Lucy working with Tennant (I feel like there wasn't a lot of that) and Whistler with Ernie. I need to see Commander Chase and Whistler interact.

I'd love to see Lucy introducing Kate to her family or vice-versa. I think it'd be nice to see.

I'm excited for their adventures for the next season,it can be amazing. They need to know each other deeper and be happy together for a while. Now they are in the honeymoon phase so we'll see sweet moments between them.

I don't think we will see FBI work on NCIS show that is not related to NCIS. Especially when we have 3 different FBI shows on CBS. So her work must be somehow connected. Kate is main but still secondary character - we don't even have her in every episode so I don't think we will see her a lot in situations that are not related to Lucy or the team.

I really like the work dynamic between Ernie and Whistler and I think she could work a lot with him, and of course also with Jane. It’s just a matter of making it happen more often.
No one really cares for great realism, if they tell us she is needed we believe it and roll with it.
She is usually the one who has intel or thinks stuff or interrogates, they can insert in many situations. And sometimes even get her in the field.

Even though i think it would be cool once or twice to have Lucy and Kate both out there (like in episode 17), i mostly prefer Lucy kicking ass with Jesse and Kai and Kate on the background investigating with Ernie and Jane.

IMO, Kate is the best interrogator in the group. There's a candor about her that makes her more relatable to some of the perps. Of course; I also like it when her and Jane tag team each other. I'm never quite sure who the good cop/bad cop is, and who is going to drop the hammer.

Apparently they're going to start filming the end of June, though no idea who this dude is to know if that's true. Would make sense though, didn't they wrap mid March?

Doesn't make hiatus any shorter, but the cast does tend to post some cute bts stuff.

Kian plays Alex Tennant, and like Jason Antoon, provides BTS pictures and videos of the filming of NCIS Hawaii. He's much liked in the fandom, and for good reason. Take him at his word. A month from now, they'll start filming S2.

Yes, more Kate interrogation scenes and with Jane if possible.
The thing about Kate is that she is so good at compartmenting and when she is tough she is really tough.
Ernie also works best with Kate than with the rest (she gets to sit on his chair!) so that’s another way to inlcude her.

The FBI somehow working as team with NCIS could also happen.
Kate’s boss seemed cool, they can bring him back.

I think Lucy will keep on calling her Whistler, like everyone else.
And that’s what Kate probably wants, it’s better to not mix work with private life.

It also makes the moments where Lucy calls her Kate more special. And those will come.
They will have those cute scenes.

I'm aware. I meant that whoever that dude is that posted the original tweet was probably using Kian as his 'source' instead of actually just saying it like that. He was trying to make himself sound important.

There's a couple of Hawaii based Twitter accounts that tend to post when NCIS Hawaii is filming on location on the island, so hopefully that'll be another thing we can keep an eye on in a couple weeks.

She is moving her lips. Now that those who lip read say it’s i Love You, i am seeing it, but maybe influenced by that lol

Although, if she truly is saying something, I Love You would make the most sense cause that is what she was gonna say when Lucy stopped her.

da

i don't see it, either.

don't get me wrong, it would've been great if the "ILY" was scripted, in that scene. however, i think that if it was, Tori would certainly mouth it more pronounced and made it more clear and we would have noticed it when watching the first time. an important part like that should not be obscure or missed.

x2 that and her finally saying it in the finale made it much more impactful, especially narrative-wise.

It could be one of those things that is there as kind of easter egg because the moment for her to say i love you was the finale.
But also the narrative showed she was going to say I Love You then - Lucy herself knew it and that’s why she asks her to not say it.

It works either way.
But it is a Whistler thing, to feel it all to herself and not say it out loud.

Nah, she doesn't whisper anything. I agree that it's way too important of a moment for even the closed captions to miss it. They would've made sure it got in, even if it was improvised.

I see her lips moving and with the power of persuasion/suggestion I can see how it could be I love you. I agree that she didn't say anything out loud or even whispered. I do think she was thinking it and wanted to say it, but couldn't. This moment was heart wrenching and for me it honestly doesn't matter whether she silently said I love you or not because we know she was thinking it, one can tell that just from her facial expressions.

This is exactly how I feel.
I love how heart wrenching this moment is and a lot because we know she wanted to say it, Lucy knew she was gonna say it, Lucy didnt want to hear it, Kate knew Lucy didnt want to hear it.
And it all just makes the scene all the more painful in the best way possible.

I randomly was rewatching some first season Originals episodes. Now I know why Yasmine looked familiar when I first watched NCIS Hawaii.

But holy crap she looks like she's 12. It can't have been that long ago, but wow.

I hadn't seen either of the ladies in other things minus one of Tori's Hallmark movies. Might go down the rabbit hole over hiatus just to keep myself entertained.

I agree with you about the easter egg. She doesn't vocalize it, but she does silently mouth the ILY. I can see it. And I think it was scripted that way. Probably a good thing it wasn't noticed until after the finale. Can you imagine the drama that would have ensued if it had been noticed back then? Wasn't episode 20 aired on May 2nd?

Usually our eagle eye fandom picks up on just about everything. Remember how she lovingly caressed Lucy's desk and then stopped when she heard footsteps? I'd have never noticed that by myself.

Never seen them in anything before but heard Yas has played wlw before.

They’re both really good in their roles and as I rewatching the season, i think they got even better as the episodes progressed.

Saw an vidéo where yasmine say i am so gay. Didnt find it and didnt know what rôles so gay she was talking about. I wish i can find something gay too watch during the hiatus and i love yasmine . I can't believe she is so open mind with homosexuality considering her nationality.

Never seen them in anything before but heard Yas has played wlw before.

They’re both really good in their roles and as I rewatching the season, i think they got even better as the episodes progressed.
That ep 20 angst is legit awesome
In the original yasmine play gay too right ?
Or i get it wrong
I don't think so. There is a lesbian couple but she is not one of them.
Thank you maybe someone know the rôles where she play gay too. I remember freya and keelin in the original. Their storyline was not bad

I don’t know anything about her. But i love to see her playing Lucy. She is so charming.

Only my therapist musulmans too treat me like à human being. The other always want me to get married, always lying for the reason i don't want to. Very not open mind

Thanks.
I wonder if that’s something they could incorporate in the show. We are all dying to know more about her family especially with all the little teases we get.
And surely it would mean something for people like you.

I think it’s when Jesse says he spied on her family and found out she is from rich families.
Lucy said her family wanted to control who she was and what she did, and obviously they were not happy with her career choice.
She has also mentioned having two brothers.
And not being close to the family I think.

da

x2

she also mentioned that she has a sister (Lucy didn't go to her Bachelorette party because it was Karaoke. Lol!), so she actually has 2 brothers and a sister that we know of. it's probably a big family... and I bet that they had/have loads of issues with her life choices, in general, and especially with her sexuality (which is not a choice!). i'd LOVE to see more about her background and family, as well as Kate's. i hope this will be explored a bit in S2.

P.S. sorry Xena that you have to go through that. it must be really horrible. :'( if you have options, you should maybe think of moving to another country, were you can be accepted for who you are and have a better life.

Thoughts! I feel like the dynamic between Whistler and the NCIS team will change after her getting back with Lucy. (I know it already has a bit, especially with Ernie) But not just because she’s officially dating Lucy, but because the team got to see her as Kate and not just Whistler. They got to see a very private glimpse of her personal life.
Hopefully this means that we will see more moments between Kate and the team and not just with Lucy as the connection. Though I’m definitely looking forward to those!
