Can we expect queer characters on CBS’ Elsbeth (returning April 4 with back-to-back episodes)? –Leonardo
I ran your question by showrunner Jonathan Tolins, who promptly flagged the Thursday, April 25 episode guest-starring Gina Gershon as a plastic surgeon who is married to a woman (played by Holly James).

Don't think 30 rock qualifies as an old sitcom but the episode with stephanie march is fun if you haven't seen it. It's S01E03

I'm looking for old sitcoms that had episodes with lesbian characters. I watched the Golden Girls ep and I loved it. Anybody knows of any others? If so, please list the episode(s).
I think the first run of Roseanne, if that counts?
The first season of Friends..Ross' ex
That was "The One with the Lesbian Wedding" (S02E11)
Also Friends "The One with Rachel's Big Kiss" (S07E20)

Joey (Friends spinoff)
Joey and the Beard S02E18

The Nanny:
Oy Vey, You're Gay S03E07

Mad About You:
Ovulation Day S04S10

Married... with Children:

I watched this show called Day 5 from a few years ago. Anyone else heard of it ? It is about everyone dying in their sleep at 3am. If those who survived because they were awake at 3am sleep they die to. I am narcoleptic and that's why I watched it. It was good and had 2 seasons. A few episodes in.one of the characters is revealed to be a lesbian radiologist who was working night shift and whose gf a doctor ran off. They meet up again at a hospital trying to find a cure. The Gf looks familiar though I can't place her. She looks like a female Evan Peters. Anyway they get a whole episode of their life prior to event. I hadn't heard of show before and it was a nice surprise.

Netflix had bought the rights for the third season...Girls5eva s03 was Netflix production

What if I tell you that seasons 1 + 2 on Peacock were better? Season 3 was a mess.
They changed the writing team, the season had fewer episodes. And Gloria, the lesbian character, didn't the best storyline
Thanks for the rundown anon. Damn though, that's a real shame.
DA. Tbh, I don't remember much about the previous seasons, but I liked season 3.
DA
I really hate that 2 of them end up happy with their dudes. Even Summer starts having better relationship with her daughter, judging by her last comment...However, the lesbian character, Gloria, ends up single!
They could change her a good ending :nails:

Well, when did Page officially transition again? Cause Devery said on her IG that she had to record all her lines from her house during Covid in 2020. So this was cast and recorded years ago. That might be why.

Anyone watching Girls on the Bus? I thought there might be some wlw content. Of course the “influencer” who’s an overweight caricature is the possible “queer” one. All the non freak shows are all straight.
Looks like it doesn't end well

In last week's episode, which was episode 3, if I remember correctly, the TikTok influencer, I think her name is Lola. She met and slept with the other girl. You didn't see much, just a bit of chatter, then a brief morning after, and they held hands and shared a brief kiss in the elevator. I'm struggling to keep watching this show. This episode was particularly bad with the heteroshit and fantasy of men stripping. I was watching for Carla Gugino and the female friendship, but the story is dull, and the core four spent most of their time apart or with men in this episode. I'm struggling to keep interest as it's not very interesting, and all the scenes feel too short or rushed. The development is lacking or not interesting. The same-sex female stuff with the TikToker and other girl didn't appeal to me one bit.
DA If you want, you can leave the Guest field blank. It'll fill in with the default "Guest" then.

I was reading a review and saw Greg Berlanti and Julie Plec are behind it and that made me completely not want to watch it.
I can't stand Julie Plec but what's wrong with Greg??
Greg is basically the go to producer for CW writers. I doubt anyone else cares to work with him.

Also the description of the show sounds exactly like something I would expect from Julie Plec or Vampire Diaries/Originals writers in general (looks at the writers for Yellowjackets). Basically all the women in the cast are boy crazy and worships men. Any "queer" women are always going to be the least attractive and unappealing among the entire cast because, you honestly think these writers care? It's just their typical token casting that many mainstream network writers like to do. Hoping there's still people out there both dumb and desperate enough to take the bait. Sadly it kind of worked for Yellowjackets, but the most popular actor on that series is going to the Fallout series, so hopefully part of the fanbase goes there and these bad writers stop getting rewarded for their crap efforts.

Kind of hard not to see Fallout being a step up for the actor similar to how the Ted series is a massive step up for the Blaire actor who I only found out was on Plec's Legacies from this site.

Yeah, they did it for the sake of drama.

Now it looks like they’ll only have light inner drama lol I’d say it’s more comedy with them right now. But if someone’s not into a wlw wanting children storyline then, even though they put that storyline on hold, I think next season it will be back.

They’ve had their first encounter…in Marta’s imagination (so sexy). And there’s been a hand touching moment…
It’s true this is a soap with a lot of characters but since Marta is one of the main ones, I think there may be pretty decent screen time with both of them together. It’s the beginning of something beautiful ❤️
Pics? Are they hot?
Fina is beautiful. Marta is cute and elegant as she's from the high society.
At first, Fina wants Petra...as you can see in the first episode but that doesn't end well

You can watch the story here

Yoo the chemistry between these two is absolutely insane they are eating each other with their eyes
Seems like they won’t kiss in the next few episodes cause the Ex turned up. But when they will…omg didn’t see that much chemistry since Itzi and Ane from Las Pelotaris.

Ark: The Animated Series. Helena was married to a woman.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13629530/
In a mysterious primeval land populated by dinosaurs and other extinct creatures, people from throughout human history have been resurrected. When 21st century Australian paleontologist Helena Walker awakes there after tragedy, she must learn to survive and find new allies, or die again at the hands of ruthless warlords, all while trying to uncover the true nature of their strange new world.
Huh interesting but they have got Idiot Page in this so I'm a bit suspicious. Well that and the already dead wife lol
Da there is the dead wife, but apparently also an ongoing romance in the show

Girls5eva season 3 is out.

New ship in novela Marea de Pasiones
Looks like here there is gonna be a love triangle with another girl.
Same actress from gay ship from La Mujer de el Diablo
To be honest I watched some scenes and didn’t buy it.. I will try to watch it when it’s done. I don’t trust Televisa … I’m still waiting for that Juliantina movie 😒

About that....Televisa had said something about Juliantina's spin off???
Wel, that channel is weird. Juliantina was huge ship and even straight wanted them but nothing.
F… Televisa and Billy. We want what they promise not this …

(I don't think it's off topic, we've discussed animation here before?)

Is the Dungeon Meshi thing canon or just very, very adjacent?
Offtopic aside, its all fanon. The manga more or less is devoid of any romance...that said Falin/Marcille its kinda more subtextual than whatever hetshippers see between Marcille and Laios.
It almost feels like they are hetbaiting themselves lol
