I think Dylan will be a great host! Well, I know it’s wishful thinking but I’m hoping that somehow Cat will also be invited as guest since she and Cat are good friends too.
Never bad to hope and she has more time now since greys is on hiatus but she can’t go anywhere with her kids yet because the school holidays doesn’t start until June or so.
For those with kids kind of stupid because like in the middle of the summer break they usually start filming again.
But also no one with a 9-5 job can take that long of either.. here it’s only 6 weeks of summer school vacation and even that is hard for parents to manage and working people have 25-30 days paid vacation here so way more then you have over there in the US

I really don’t think she cares about going on podcasts

ER should be on Drew's podcast every year. I mean, they didn't appear last year, but they should make it a yearly tradition. Kinda like Two Dykes. I wouldn't mind seeing ER appear on Drew's pod at least once a year.

Plus they have an academic mother, that's going to contribute in a way. ER has always struck me as the kind of person who is just good at things. I'm not particularly surprised they are a 4.0 but being an avid reader is necessarily always mutually exclusive with being a 4.0. some of the smartest people I know are avid readers but didn't achieve 4.0s because school and taking tests just wasn't for them.

Yeah not everyone can do that. Like I was never the kid who could never revise or afford to not pay attention in class and still get a 4.0 at the end of the day. Like I'd just straight up fail. But I knew people who like ER could just put a tiny bit of effort into their studies but be chill 90% of the time and still just nail it. As OP said, ER is just one of those people who can do it all. They will excel at anything you throw at them to do.

Fair point. School isn't for everyone. The measure of someone's intelligence certainly isn't down to a perfect or near perfect GPA. Or the books they read. But I'd say being able to read a book and consume information is a measure of intelligence. It requires critical thinking to consume information and understand it. Intelligence and reading is mutually exclusive. But not intelligence, reading and having a 4.0. Having a 4.0 is just the extra brownie points. Probably should have said that saying ER being an avid reader is a sign of intelligence.

I'm not particularly surprised they are a 4.0 but being an avid reader is necessarily always mutually exclusive with being a 4.0. some of the smartest people I know are avid readers but didn't achieve 4.0s because school and taking tests just wasn't for them.

Another great episode on Drew's podcast with ER. Loved it and enjoyed it. Thank you for the person who did all the summaries. I loved the little anecdotes in this ep by ER. A lot of partner mentions and other noteworthy stuff like how they love performing and making music. And how much they love and appreciate their fans. Yes, I loved this one, a really good listen! I also loved the discussion around trans. Drew is one of my favorite podcast hosts, and always lets her guests talk. Jockular is good at this too even with 3 hosts.

Drew's pod is one of those where you know ER will be able to talk at length. And not just utter three words before being rudely cut off. I enjoyed ER's first ep with Drew and I loved the second ep. Also loved watching the vid as well. That's always fun. Drew's pod sounds like two friends sitting down having a conversation, instead of an interview like some other pods with a lot of time wasting. Also, another bonus point to Drew for the eps being long as well. A solid hour and a half of yapping and anecdotes, it's what we love to see.

Before I crunched the numbers again I liked The idea of a shortened season 25 to hit 500 episodes that was only 8 or 9 episodes long to parallel the first season only being 9 but that doesn't make sense anymore because they would hit 500 by the end of a 16 episode season 24. Maybe if they did an extremely shortened season like that though the vets would be in every single episode.

Jesus, at least another three seasons before they even hit 500. Assuming they keep it at 18 eps each season. So the race between hitting either 25 or 500 first is pretty even. Theoretically they still could go for another five seasons. Given the popularity it still has and it still makes the network bank. But that is still longer than I'd like for it to go lol. Though I can see it wrapping things up within one or two seasons. But the show is too much of a cash cow for the network so it'll probably run much longer than we all anticipated. Please end the show so everyone can be free and do other exciting projects.

Great to see ER back on so many podcasts, I've missed them on podcasts. Hopefully the upcoming ones, they'll be allowed to talk. Instead of talking and then being interrupted.
